I am Christy Owen, I have been teaching in a Lutheran School for 29 years. Being a Lutheran teacher is what I grew up wanting to do when I grew up.
Once our first child was born my husband, Scott and I moved back to Nebraska to be closer to family.
Our girls, Katie and Sydney, both attended Christ Lutheran, Lutheran High Northeast, and Wayne State College.
One of my favorite parts about Christ Lutheran is that I love to share God’s Word with the children all day long! It is so neat to see the little ones grow in their faith.
I enjoy camping in the summer, reading, knitting, and sewing. I love to drink chai.
I have both my Lutheran teaching degree and master’s degree for Concordia Seward.
I began teaching at St. John’s in Merrill, Wisconsin where I started their preschool program and taught Kindergarten and Preschool.
