Hello, and welcome to our First Grade website. My name is Mrs. Deb Schmidt, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to teach small children, and I look forward to working with our Christ Lutheran families.
My two boys live in Phoenix with their families, and my daughter’s family lives in Seward. My entire family attended Lutheran grade school, and we have undergraduate and graduate degrees from UNL and Concordia University. My husband is currently the VP of OGT and has 30 years of experience in coaching and teaching within the Concordia University System. We travel often and are very busy and very blessed!
My career includes 24 years at the K-2 level, and I have also developed and directed 2 Lutheran preschools, one in Scottsdale, AZ, and one in Milford, NE. This is my 5th year serving as a first-grade teacher at Christ Lutheran School.
